This is an adjustable firewood grate made just for outdoor fire pits. If you have a fire pit that has any depth to it you will need to stand over the pit to see the fire or raise the fire off the floor so you can see the flames sitting in a chair. Plus it makes the fire burn better with more air under the fire.
