I have used this personally and it rocks. And it's under 200 bucks. And it is the best fire pit/grill I have ever used in the under 500 dollar range. Next to our Fire Pit "THE TANK" this fire pit hits all the bells.
The size is perfect. You can burn large logs and there is ample enough room for many hours of burning ashes. It comes with a removable spark safety screen that opens for easy access to add more logs. What's cool about this is that when the night is over and it's time to go to bed you just close the vents and lower the lid. The screen fits on the fire pit with the lid closed. The lid is attached in such a way that its easy to remove and you have just the fire pit or you can leave the lid on and opened and it works just fine.
Easy to Clean
This is important because it's not a maintenance nightmare. When your done using it, just close the lid. It hides the messy ashes and burned stuff. You can clean it at your convenience. With other open fire pits if you don't clean it right away it looks bad sitting on your patio. Then if it rains then you really have a mess. Not with the "RADIANT FIRE PIT". Just close the lid and reuse the logs again on the next fire.
It Functions very well and this isn't marketing hype.
The handle pulls out so it's easy to use and it pushes in so it's not in the way when your using it. Has large wheels so it rolls easily. It has adjustable air vents so the fire can breathe.
And It's a Bar Be Que Grill
I Don't believe in mixing fire pits and grills because of the mess. The
two exceptions to my rule is "The
Tank Fire Pit" and this fire pit "THE RADIANT FIRE PIT".
It really works well. The adjustable air vents controls the flame and the
grill area is rather Large. The size of this grill is impressive. A lot
of fire pits are fire pits that are crossed marketed as grills as well but
they don't work. They are messy, dirty and don't work. Not to my satisfaction
anyway.
This is the exception to the rule. This Fire pit could be marketed as a
grill that doubles as a fire pit.
My Final Analysis
For the money this is the best fire pit on the market. Your getting what
your paying for and it lives up to marketing. The fact that it doubles as
a grill and works well as a grill is an added bonus
.
It's built very well, it's large, it's safe, It's easy to use and clean.
And when it's not being used it stows away very easily.
And as a freebie you get a great grill.
What more can you ask for?
